Rebuilding at Old Trafford

During a summer without a World Cup or European Championship to enjoy, there is extra time for speculation about which players will sign with which clubs. Currently the rumour mill is in overdrive with plenty of stories and articles pertaining to the futures of superstars such as Luka Modric, Samir Nasri and Wesley Sneijder.

Sneijder is of particular interest to those in Manchester. He is believed to be the player singled out by super-manager Fergie as Paul Scholes’ replacement and, as was the case with Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Javier Hernandez, Roy Keane, Rio and Ronaldo, Fergie usually gets his man.
United and Inter seem to be locked in a game of cat and mouse at present, with the latter apparently holding out for £35million for the Dutchman’s signature and United touted as the clear favourites to land him according to football betting odds.

United are also chasing Brazilian attacking midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso. If Ferguson ties up this particular deal he’ll have pulled off yet another transfer coup, beating AC Milan, Tottenham, PSG and others to it.
Add Sneijder and Ganso to the other new arrivals - David de Gea, Ashley Young and Phil Jones – and United’s future looks pretty secure.

Players out through the Old Trafford exit door this summer include Wes Brown and John O’Shea who both went to Sunderland and Owen Hargreaves who turned to the internet in an attempt to prove his fitness and hopefully find a new club.

The Community Shield match against Manchester City is just around the corner and football bets are already pouring in on this match. We’re looking forward to another great season and a whole lot more activity before the close of the transfer window!
