Women’s World Cup Hots Up

With all of the teams having now completed at least two games, a clearer picture is developing as to which teams are likely to advance through to the knockout rounds and those who won’t.

From Group A, France and Germany will both go through. They won both of their opening games, meaning Nigeria and Canada are eliminated. With a superior goal difference, France need only draw their final group game against Germany to top the group, but one major factor the French must remember is that Germany have won the last two World Cups and are going for the hat-trick on home soil which, in terms of football betting, makes them one of the major favourites to triumph.

Group C is in a similar state, with the United States and Sweden advancing at the expense of North Korea and Colombia. A draw against the Swedes will be sufficient for the Americans to win the group which is why most of the smart money in football betting will be placed on such an outcome.

Group B is much tighter with England and Mexico fighting for the second spot. Japan are safe whereas the Three Lionesses only need a draw against Japan to advance themselves. For the Mexicans to make it they need to beat New Zealand and hope that the result between Japan and England goes their way too..

In Group D, Australia and Norway are battling for second spot. Australia are ahead on goal difference and so a draw will be good enough for them. The Norwegians used to be a powerhouse in women’s football but aren’t as strong as the team that won the World Cup in 1995.

Once the pool matches finish, then the excitement can really begin and Titan Bet will be there every step of the way, catering to all of your football betting needs, as well as a live betting zone which is second to none. Viva la Copa!
